Growing up in Chicago I had a passion for playing music and painting, playing in bands and working in mixed media visual arts throughout High School and my early adulthood. In the last couple years I feel to have truly found my voice with photography and am somewhat obsessed with the medium, learning and shooting as much as I possibly can. Living in San Francisco these last 8 years has been very rewarding and truly a great learning experience. The photo community here is alive and well providing a lot of resources for continued learning and feedback. I love making photos that show the human condition, experiences we all share daily. For me it really shows how much we are the same as people regardless of differences in background, race, gender, sexual preference, and upbringing. CL
